We process payments with PayPal, Credit Cards an external payments platform that allows you to process transactions with a variety of payment methods. Funds from PayPal sales on rexdistribution.ca will be deposited into your (vendor) PayPal account.

Listing fees are billed in CAD or USD, so if your bank’s currency is not CAD or USD, the amount in your currency may vary based on changes in the exchange rate.

Here are some common questions about selling on Rex Distribution

How do fees work on Rex Distribution?

Joining and starting an online shop on Rex Distribution is free. There are three basic selling fees: a listing fee (if more than 5 products), a transaction/referral/service fee, and a payment processing fee.

It costs nothing to publish a listing. A listing lasts for four months minimum or until the item is sold.

Once an item sells, there is a minimum of 5-15% service fee on the sale price (not including shipping costs). If you accept payments with PayPal, there is also a payment processing fee based on their fee structure.

If more than 5 listings the listing fees are billed at $1 for individual unit (plus additional selling fee) or $20 for unlimited listing per month.

As you think about the full cost of selling with us, be sure to consider additional selling expenses you may incur. These expenses can include other options designed to help you increase sales and find prospects and conversions. Includes cost like non media listing fee for more than 90 days ( $0.05/month), refund administration fee (If you refund a customer for an order for which you have already received payment, we will refund you the amount of the service fee you paid for the each item. This is minus the applicable refund administration fee, which is minium of $5.00 or 20% of the service fee depending upon the category and revers logistics fee, dangerous goods and lithium batteries surcharge (incur a charge of $0.15 per unit surcharge, in addition to the end to end delivery and refund fee and other fees applicable per item(s) sold or returned, if an items that contain lithium batteries or are sold with them, as well as any dangerous good or as specified under hazmat). Other optional fee includes end to end logistics fee and (or) advertising

What do I need to open a verified vendor account and an online shop?

In order to open an account and complete your registration, make sure you have access to the following documents:
  • Verified phone number and email id
  • Chargeable credit card
  • Bank Account and Routing Number
  • Government issued photo id’s
  • Tax Information

How do I get paid?

When the sale has been made and your account have a positive balance with us, Rex send the money to your account using an EFT( Electronic fund transfer) or Pay Pal payout. It can take unto five to seven working days for the money to appear in your bank account after Rex Distribution Inc. initiates the payment.
Before we can pay you, you must provide a valid bank account as the Deposit Method in your seller account settings. We cannot make payments to a credit card or any non verified or recognizable online payment system with us.
If you accept payments with PayPal, funds from PayPal sales on Rex Distribution Inc. will be deposited into your PayPal account. We encourage sellers to use a PayPal Business account and not a Personal account, as personal accounts are subject to monthly receiving limits and cannot accept payments from buyers that are funded by a credit card.

Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?

No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. To be verified as a seller you have the choice to use either a credit card or to register via PayPal. You will not incur any charges until you open your shop and publish your listings.

What can I sell on Rex Distribution?

Rex Distribution provides a marketplace for manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers, individuals, services and collectors (vintage goods at least 20 years old) to sell their products and services with us in Canada and USA market.
